"Lady Steel" is truly a one-of-a-kind instrument, with its lute-influenced bowl-back crafted from eleven individual mahogany ribs, a mahogany top, and carved mahogany peghead. Lady Steel's braids are all individually hand-cut pieces of boxwood and ebony that span the entire top, sound hole, and fingerboard edges.
The bowl-back is David's unique design & was inspired by the several lutes he built during the early stages of his career and is most notably played by Ben Harper. This steel guitar has an amazing warm & full-bodied sound that fills the room.
